The following picture shows the illumination. Note this picture is brighter than what the gauge looks like in person (it's overexposed).

The following picture shows the Classic Silver between a pair of the stock gauges. The gray is a pretty good match in this lighting, but the bezel is hideous compared to the other chrome-rimmed gauges I have (VDO and ISSPRO). It's thick, it's stepped in shape and the bezel isn't a mirror chrome.
